My husband and I decided to try our new gun at Tommy Gun shooting range in Honesdale, Pa. They immediately made us feel welcomed and were very helpful, being weΓÇÖre new handgun owners. They gave us tips on how to handle the gun, stance, how to properly clear a jam, etc. He made us so comfortable and relaxed, being it was both our first times using a pistol. The range itself was really clean & nicely decorated. They had a good selection of guns, ammo, eye/ear protection, any other gear you might want or need. The prices are reasonable too. The whole experience was great! IΓÇÖll be going back regularly being theyΓÇÖre close to home.

I am pro 2nd amendment and I HAVE NEVER BEEN TO THIS PLACE. However...based on what I read on line and PLEASE PROVE ME WRONG.....it seems that this place is associated with a cult called "The Rod of Iron" headed by Pastor Shawn or Sean or Hyung Jin Moon...a son of Reverend Sun Young Moon. Although they tell us to love our neighbor...and that's a very good thing..seems like a very cult like group. Seems like it's a church in name only.. because the super wealthy family who has run this cult since the 1970's don't want to pay tax like the rest of us. They support a free magazine called "Our Town" that implies people are "sheep" if they think the rich should pay tax....again...like the rest of us who DO pay tax. Tax money the government uses to build our countries infrastructure, defend our country...and all the other things our tax dollars support....like social security, medicaid & medicare and free education for our children....but "The Rod of Iron" does not have to pay for the roads they drive on or the schools their children attend, or the medical care their elderly and children receive? Personally I think all churches should pay tax if they can't prove they are helping people with food and shelter, helping people get off drugs, helping families stay together....with the exact same amount they would otherwise be paying to the state and federal government.

We came in during a storm this past weekend. The guy at the counter was a real jerk. Asked if we had an appointment. We clearly didnt since we planned on going all week (didnt know it would rain like it did). Guy made some stupid comment then said "Did you think you were the only one that thought about shooting during a storm?". Shame since I enjoy going here...

Great place, very friendly. Patient range officer on the shooting line made it easy for a novice like myself. I rented a line for an hour and brought my own Glock and Ruger pistols neither of which I ever shot despite having both for years. Supplies like ear protection was very cheap $2 or $3 for a set. I also got extra ammo when I ran out, which was same price as any other gun store not marked up at all. Next time I go I'm going to rent one of their 22 caliber handguns or a 22 rifle because the ammo is much much cheaper ! My Glock is a 40 caliber so it's not fun spending $24 per box of 50 not to mention the artillery shockwave it produces, lol. 10/10 recommend! I didn't know I'm going to like it so much. Cheers!

Awesome range, these guys are professional and courteous. Nick is funny and accommodating. Range guys have years of experience and gave solid tips on weapon and accuracy on hitting bullseye!

These guys are amazing. No ego's at all. These mostly Veteran Range Officers make you feel welcome and help you with anything you need.The difference in this range compared to NY is huge. Everyone is extremely safe and they pay very close attention. A GREAT range for new shooters as well as experienced.shooters.

Absolutely fantastic experience at the shooting range! The staff were all incredibly professional, knowledgeable, and helpful. From the moment my husband and I arrived, I felt welcomed and at ease. The instructors took the time to ensure that I was comfortable and confident with the equipment, and their expertise made for an enjoyable and safe shooting experience. The facilities were top-notch, and the entire atmosphere was friendly and accommodating. I can't recommend this place highly enough and will definitely be returning for more shooting fun! Five stars all the way! I wish I didnΓÇÖt in New York, IΓÇÖd be here all the time.

IΓÇÖve called this range three times now trying to make a reservation for a shooting lane and in all three instances IΓÇÖve spoken to the rudest, most arrogant, least customer-friendly man I have ever spoken to in my life. IΓÇÖll take my business to other ranges, and encourage everyone else to avoid this range at all costs. Go somewhere where people actually appreciate your business. Geez, how hard is it to be nice to people these days?

First time at a range. Everyone there was really nice and knowledgeable. They took their time to explain everything and made sure everyone was safe. I'll definitely be back. I'm from NY and came with a valid state ID and had no issues.

Fantastic firearm range and shop. They carry standard selections and lots of ammo. The range isn't large, but the equipment is good. The range officers are SUPERB. They are sharp, experienced, and very kind. Always encouraging and quick to offer advice - perfect for novice users. My wife and children always come away with a positive experience. Great place for a training date. It's a bonus that there's a great sushi restaurant in the same plaza. This place is a gem!

Top notch, had a great time with family while on vacation in the area. The owners were great, explained everything throughly from safety to loading the fire arms to tips on firing them. Great selection of handguns and rifles to try.

Tommy Gun is a Great Range to go shoot. Took my family and some friends to shoot there on 7/19/23, there were 9 of us, and we all had a great time. Everyone had a safe and fun experience. The staff/instructors were all great and professional. Most in our group were new shooters. The instructors were very patient and helpful, they each did a fantastic job helping everyone. If you are near or visiting the Honesdale area definitely stop by and have some safe fun. A BIG THANK YOU to the Staff/Instructors at Tommy Gun Shooting Range! Great Job Gentlemen, Thank you.

Brought my girlfriend who had never shot a gun before. The SROs were extremely supportive, friendly, and helpful. She loved shooting the AR-15. Looking forward to returning with her as well as solo in the future.

Small range but good equipment and very nice staff. They seem to have a reservation system for members so maybe call before if you're a walk in. Didn't check out the shop but saw a decent bit of inventory as well. Highly recommend!
