Rene was amazing!! I've never picked up a firearm before in my life. I took the basic handgun training with him and it was a fantastic learning experience. He was very knowledgeable and a pro at helping me feel comfortable throughout the entire process. I highly recommend to request him specifically as an instructor for your lessons!!

It was an amazing experience but the reason I went there is to shoot a belt fed machine gun but all of theirs were broken. I completely understand that sometimes things break but at least update the website to say that itΓÇÖs out of commission or something.

We took the first shots class and Joe was fantastic. He explained everything well and in a way that was easy to understand. He never made anyone feel like their questions were stupid. And has a real passion for what he does. He went out of his way to answer questions about other courses, groups, and promotions they have there making you feel safe and welcome. We really had a great time!

During my first-time visit to Houston, I had stopped by to learn a little about guns before travelling back to my home country. I had the opportunity to work with Tess (and what A Girl & A Gun is all about), as well as the very lovely lady that was working alongside her who taught me how to hold the gun properly Those two ladies have certainly made my day special with their amazing guidance. Despite my initial fear, it was an incredible experience and I owe that all to them!

I have had only exceedingly enjoyable experiences at this gun range. The exceptionally knowledgeable and personable employees are always willing to answer my questions. I completed my LTC shooting qualification and classroom instruction with Mr. Joseph, who did a great job teaching, explaining, answering questions, creating helpful examples, and more. They truly go above and beyond to ensure that you understand your rights, the law, and tips that will make your life easier.

Excellent experience! IΓÇÖve been going to another range for years and I cannot say the vibe is the same! The folks at the counter were helpful and understanding that I was coming in with three newbies and were helpful, respectful and provided an overall great experience! I brought my own, but the newbies with me wanted to try things and the staff was amazing with offering help and assistance! I will no longer go to the other range and deal with some young dude being smug and condescending! I should have been coming here all along! Thank you and we will be back!

I got my concealed carry license here. The instructors were clear and concise about the whole process. The class took a day and was very efficient. If you are looking more into gun training or just want to shoot some cool machine guns, this is your place!
