This is such a great place to exercise your 2A rights. They allow parents to bring their children 10 years and older to be supervised by their parents while they learn responsible handling of a weapon. I taught my wife and she was raised to fear weapons now she loves coming here and understands proper weapon handling. The staff here takes their job, of keep everyone safe, seriously. If you forget the rules they'll repeat it and correct you. This keeps us all safe.

Great place. Wood benches could be a little better for rifle, but apart from that great place. One note if itΓÇÖs cloudy and thundering might be worth it to go another day, as for safety they donΓÇÖt allow shooting while itΓÇÖs lighting (completely reasonable). But might be frustrating to wait.

Great range and staff for Trap and Skeet! This place is a local resource and a treasure. It provides the only Trap and Skeet fields in the County. The Range Safety Officers and knowledgeable and will provide valuable feedback (if you are courteous and humble enough to ask!) They have great rental guns (Berettas!) if you want to learn. The other shooters make the place special and everyone is willing to help and teach. This is a great place to go break Clays and make friends.

This place is great. This was the first time I went to an outside shooting range and I have to say I loved it and I had so much fun. Every single person that works there was super helpful and so nice. The group I was with was composed of 9 people and we shot riffles and handguns. It was very organized clean and safe. We all agreed we would definitely be returning.

It's a great range. I go once a week, the fact that it is government owned and they are strict with the rules even better. If you get yelled at it's because you did something stupid. You'll be fine! You won't get flagged or shot at this place because someone decided to play with a gun during cold range time.

I had planned to visit the range with a friend, but after reading negative reviews about the Range Officers intimidating and yelling at guests, I'm reconsidering. It's made me hesitant to go there. I better go somewhere else

This is my favorite outdoor range in the Miami area. The staff are super friendly and willing to help out with anything and everything. Very good community of people that frequent this range and of course the Cuban cafecitos that the staff members offer once the range is cold 🤣

Trail Glades Shooting Range offers a great experience for both beginners and seasoned shooters. The staff is knowledgeable and helpful, ensuring a safe environment for everyone. The range is well-maintained, and the outdoor setup adds to the experience. There are several ranges available for different firearms, which makes it versatile. The only downside is that it can get crowded on weekends, leading to longer wait times. Overall, itΓÇÖs an excellent place to practice shooting, with reasonable pricing and a relaxed atmosphere.

In the 1950ΓÇÖs I would travel by bus from Miami Beach to Trail Glades Ranges every Saturday in the morning to participate in the Small Bore matches. My mother bought me a BSA International Martini falling block .22 LR rifle. I carried the rifle in a case for the 1 1/2 to two hour bus rides on two different bus companies. Miami Beach Railway Company, Miami Transit or Grayhound Naples/Tampa Route. For two years, till I joined the Army I never missed a match. It was, inexpensive, great instructors and great people. The range was always busy and well maintained. Safety was paramount.

Stay away!!! Government owned. My friends and I went shooting here the other day, when we arrived, we took a safety class, the instructor was very kind and knowledgeable. After the class we proceeded to the Range. As soon as I start setting up, the Range officer comes yelling at me, I asked what the problem was, he kept yelling and being disrespectful, screaming at me just because my gun was Not in the case, my gun was cleared and I was taking it out to set it on the table. He then proceeded to ask me who was my instructor as to get out instructor in trouble. I was like, hey man. Calm down, my instructor didnΓÇÖt do anything wrong , if anyone did something wrong it was me. He then kept on being rude and yelling, so I quickly picked up my stuff and left, but obviously not without firing back a couple of insults at this douche bag. Any government owned business is trash, I think most of us have learned that by now. And a little kindness and respect goes a long way. Worst experience ever, Will Never go there again or any government owned shooting range. The government always gets it wrong and only makes matters worse most of the time.
