Mr. Revallier is an excellent teacher and rangemaster. He ensured my family felt competent at their skill level. Everyone was happy.

Simple place, just trap and skeet and that's about it. But it is one of only a few places you can do skeet around here so that's a big plus. Staff are helpful, they actually took my A300 apart trying to diagnose an ejection issue. Looks like it just needed to be broken in though

The best place to shoot skeet and trap in the San Jose area! They're open from 4 PM to 8 PM Monday through Wednesday, which fits perfectly with my work schedule. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful.

I will practice my shooting skills here in the future, this is a very good outdoor shooting venue, the price is cheap, the staff is very good, seeing them eager to help beginners, I think they must love this job very much .

Field Sports Park, the County's only publicly owned firing range. This park provides opportunities for rifle and pistol, as well as trap and skeet shooting. League activity and special events take place year-round. Located in south San Jose, Field Sports Park is staffed and supervised by qualified Range Masters at all times.

I shot 2 rounds of skeet. The people who run it are extremely nice and courteous. The range has a trap and skeet range and a rifle range. Also I think they have a pistol range, however not sure. It used to be called the winchester range. It's a nice set up.

Booking was fast and easy, you currently do it online at gooutsideandplay.org You are allocated 2 hours and you must pick one range and distance because covid. I look forward to when covid is over and I can fully enjoy this place. The backdrop is absolutely beautiful, I was there with my wife on a sunny day and I just felt so at peace... as we unloaded our many guns into the target mounds. Ultimate stress relief. Staff was professional, friendly and knowledgeable. It is a very safe place, also masks and social distancing is upheld here. This will be our new home range.

The peace of mind I get from this place is worth all the 1 hr of driving I have to do to get there. The staff are very professional and mature in the way they carry themselves and willing to help. Covid-19 rules are strictly observed.

My first time at this range and it was an overall great experience. They have excellent Covid-19 measures to ensure everybodyΓÇÖs safety. All staff and shooters were wearing masks, staff sprayed down each station with a sanitizing solution between use, there was one empty station between shooters to maintain physical distancing, staple guns to mount targets were sanitized by staff before issuance, and the range masters ensured separate households/social bubbles kept to their own lane and wore masks. Along with the health measures taken above, range masters kept firearm safety an absolute priority keeping it fun and safe for everybody. They willingly helped new shooters, offered tips/advice to shooters learning to operate new guns, and were extremely quick to help when there were firearm jams. DonΓÇÖt hesitate to ask them a question, especially when it comes to firearm safety. Take a deep breath and just have a good time! The staff and Santa Clara County have done a phenomenal job at this range. Quick tips: You must reserve a range station in advance online. Bring your eye and ear protection. Bring hand sanitizer, water, and snacks. They provide you with a target and you can buy more. They were accepting credit/debit payment for the targets. There were two porta potties on-site. Have fun!
