Tri County Gun Club

Q: is tcgc having sight in days this year
A: We're sorry, given the restrictions due to the COVID Delta variant, we have decided to cancel Hunter's Sight-in this year.

Q: Are members allowed to collect brass casings? And are they allowed to shoot reloaded bullets?
A: Yes and Yes. The casings on the ground are there for the taking as long as the person who fired them has left them. Casing deposited in the collection receptacles are property of TCGC. Members are supposed to clean up casings on square ranges, but the Action Ranges usually have plenty left on the ground for the taking. Members only, of course.

- Lauren (5 years ago)
A: Lauren is correct we are not open to the general public.

Q: how long is the waiting list?
A: I suggest you email the club.
- Don Spear (6 years ago)
A: Someone inside the office might be able to answer a little better but I added my wife to it over 6 months ago and she hasn't gotten a call yet even with renewal dropouts just happening. My guess is the wait is at least a year

Love being a member and sharing a hobby with others. No pretentious- everyone is there to have fun, be safe, and share a love of firearms. Not just a shooting range, this is so much more.

One of the biggest gun clubs in the northwest. They host lots of training and matches that are open to the public. They have a great youth three-tier safety class for children 8 years and up

After signing up on the waitlist, I received notification from a relative that TCGC was trying to reach me. I have a unique last name, and the TCGC staff recognized it from my relative who is a member at the club. It turns out, TCGC emails were getting bounced by my firewall. So, long story short, they worked every angle to get ahold of me to assure I got my chance to join, which I did. I've been a member now for a few years, and after reading some of the less than satisfactory reviews, I can attest that the staff has been nothing but kind and helpful in my dealings with them. Sometimes they just want to check out what I'm shooting that day. I have asked them for advice on setting up range scenarios to assure it met club rules. I have had a couple of interactions with RSOs critiquing safety violations, or near violations with me and/or my guests. I have always been approached with clear concise communication of the nature of the concern in a matter of fact manner. The RSOs have explained the infraction, how to fix them, and how to maintain compliance with club rules, with the caveat if the error was repeated, I'd be visiting the disciplinary board. In my opinion, if one is approached by an RSO, it is because the RSO is doing their job, which is nothing more than to keep the member, guests and public safe. If one engaged in shooting sports cannot understand the magnitude of a single projectile leaving the range, injuring someone, or worse, then perhaps they should reconsider their choice of hobby.

Tri-County Gun Club is a great place to hone your skills with firearms. There are numerous ranges available year-round for everything from pistols and rifles to shotguns and even an archery range. Membership applications are available, and current members can bring guests. Check it out; it's right here in Sherwood.

Excellent place to do all types of shooting. It's a members only club, but members can bring in friends to shoot with them. They're improving the club all time updating equipment and adding new areas. My dad was member and I've been a member for 20 years myself.
