I've heard numerous times members talking about how much they hate trans people. But if I'm going to be honest, it felt like they were only saying what they felt like they were expected to say. I didn't sense any actual hostility from them, but I do also pass as cis so take what I just said with a grain of salt.... It's kind of silly how members need to prove they can turn in a circle without flagging the clouds before they're allowed to shoot at the tac area. I'm not really sure how that helps anybody? All in all a slightly Trumpy club. Could definitely be worse like that *other* shooting club in the area. Plus, these guys let you take the brass casings home if you're a reloader! It's a tiny but worth mentioning benefit :) Edit: just got a response and it was ??? 1. I am literally a member of the club. I have already gone through the orientation, so thanks for offering. I've already been a part of several of the public events. 2. I was told numerous times by different people that I had to get my membership signed off by the education chair before I could use the action bay. 3. "Trumpy" referred to the members of the club. Not the club itself. There is literally a group called "Students For Trump" from U of M who periodically shoots at the rifle bay. I know because I've met them. I have heard other members singing high praises for Trump. You can't deny any of that is real. Not a fake review.

Great spot for IDPA practice and matches, once you're a member you're trusted to handle yourself but everyone is willing to help or provide advice.

I have been shooting trap here for a couple of years. Very nice group of people, welcoming to new shooters and non members. I have taken the opportunity to do their monthly breakfasts and steak dinners as well. The facilities are older but well maintained. Safety is adhered to strictly.

I have just gotten back into target shooting after a long hiatus. The club has great facilities about 10 minutes form my house. Very accessible, strong safety orientation, and great range staff. Dennis, the senior range officer, spent time with me and corrected my stance, breathing, form, and helped me tremendously. Highly recommended.
