Being apart of the club has its perks. The club takes care of the grounds and has updated the ranges with new throwers. Great place and great people.

It wasn't open, we drove 20 miles for it not to be open get you hours together

The upper range, known as the pistol and trap range, seems to get a lot of new equipment, maintenance and repair. However the lower range ( rifle range)seems to be the ugly step child. The gate is locked most of the time and members can't get in. It is never mowed and the 100' and 200' target backboards are always in need of repair. While their annual membership fees are not exorbitant, in reality you only get half of what you paid for. No one seems to know why the lower range is in such poor shape or unavailable! Overall I think this a a good ole boy trap range and to heck with the rifle shooters.

On Sunday, August 14th, I drove down to the range from Lexington ..... Google Maps, which is all I had to go on, said they were open. The gate was closed and padlocked and I could not find hours posted, etc. Have no way of knowing if they are still in business, what the hours are, how to join, etc.

A fine local gun club. One combination field for skeet and trap. A nice pistol pit and 200 yard rifle range down the road. Has covered firing line and two benches. Clubhouse is well maintained and classroom available.

Good pistol and trap ranges. Have not seen the rifle range yet. Generally clean and well-kept because it is members only and members tend to clean up after themselves.
