Triangle Pit

Q: What is the cost to shoot here?
A: Yes. Just makes sure you have your Washington state discovery pass displayed. Also, caution on bringing children. Depending on the crowd, it can be sketchy.

Q: Is this a rifle range?
A: Not really, it's just a gravel pit that just can shoot your handguns and rifles at. There's no supervision or lanes. Just bring whatever you want as far as firepower and targets. I've shot pumpkins, Clay's, boxes etc.

A: Make sure to have a discovery pass pick up any trash you bring. Includes shot gun shells, empty box's of bullets all plastics. There are big blue garbage bags behind the logs for people to use. And just be respectful to one another and the volunteers who are there working to keep the pit suitable by picking up trash that was left.

It's one of my most favorite locations to shoot at. To all those that pick up brass afterward, thank you, nothing but the utmost respect.

First of all some people pick up the brass due to hardship not be just because their drug addicts so whoever it is that keeps saying that better realize that it isn't just because of the druggies yes there are druggies that do the same thing however some of us are not such as myself so thank you very much for profiling and I simply pick it up for charity I donate to a lady that rescues raccoons and other animals so next time maybe just ask somebody

Old school place to send a few down range. Reminds me of when I was younger on the farm. Just be sure to clean up after yourself or else the range wonΓÇÖt be around for everyone to take advantage of.

I enjoy this shooting pit, beautiful land to shoot on, you can go as close as 5 yards and as far as probably 100-150. ItΓÇÖs generally safe, but thereΓÇÖs no range master so be aware of the people around you. Only one incident happened where a guy walked onto the range to put up a target before anyone could call it cold, and the whole line of people, at least 10-15 groups of people were putting rounds down range so that was a questionable move on that guys part. Generally anyone can call the range cold, IΓÇÖd say atleast give it 15-20 minutes after the range goes hot, and only call out for a hot range after you look around and check to make sure everyone is behind the line. There are locals that go around collecting the brass and theyΓÇÖre friendly, they collect the brass to resell them, but they also collect the trash people leave. And thereΓÇÖs lots of trash, people pollute the heck out of this place (I saw 2 TVs! ItΓÇÖs cool to shoot the TV, but please take it home with you after or dispose of it correctly afterwards.)but luckily we have these people picking up. ThatΓÇÖs not to say you can just trash the place, if youΓÇÖre going to shoot here please have a trash bag or grocery bag and just pick up your paper targets or cans you shoot. Make sure you get sun screen, a hat, and water, shooters will not have almost zero shade in the sunny months. Honestly if you can just not point the gun at anyone else, not shoot tanerite, not shoot anyone, and not touch your gun when the range is cold, pick up after yourself(if you need to, yell out ΓÇ£Cold Range!ΓÇ¥ To retrieve your target safely.) youΓÇÖll have plenty of fun at this range for years.
