Q: How come its closed on a beautiful Thursday morning?

A: Friday is a weekday lol. IΓÇÖm assuming this is just your excuse. As a member of the local community I live here seven days a week so it doesnΓÇÖt matter if someoneΓÇÖs shooting on a Monday or Saturday.

- Jay M (9 months ago)

A: Sorry. We are only open Friday through Sunday. Weekday shooting gunfire noise is disruptive to the local community.

The hours posted here do not match the hours on the Pima County website. Here it says you close at two on Saturday the website says you close at three. Get it together.

Great range, nice people. Rules are easy to follow short and sweet. Great range for all types pistols, rifles, shotguns with slugs and target less buckshot. Prices are pretty good.

Been coming here for about a year now, by far my favorite range in Tucson. Sometimes itΓÇÖs busy especially on Sunday but the wait isnΓÇÖt ever too bad. Range masters are super helpful and friendly. Be aware they watch you like a hawk so if you muzzle flag someone you WILL get kicked out. Definitely a plus that they are so observant and will help you with jams. Overall great place and I really hope they donΓÇÖt get shut down (I was told the neighborhood nearby is trying to shut them down :(. Great spot!!! Will be back again and again.

Place is nice to shoot if it werenΓÇÖt for the employees(only the lady in the front was respectful ). They are constantly talking bad about there customers and getting mad over nothing and making rules as they go.They get angered or irritated very easy and should not be allowed to have a gun with that attitude. I was told they would kick me out for putting tape on a table like seriously this is a joke. I will never being going back here again. DonΓÇÖt bring your kids if you plan on going. Not an enjoyable spot. By far the worst experience IΓÇÖve ever had shorting guns only shot 70 rounds and decided to leave.

Dispite their being a line of people to shoot, the range masters are more then happy to let multiple old dudes take up a lane while shooting 2 shots every 15 min and spending 98 percent of the time talking at someone else's lane. Incredibly annoying way to watch your range time melt away, Other than that awesome range, very safety focused

I have been going to TMP for a couple of years now and the experience was always good. The RSO's were always helpful and friendly. Until yesterday. I went with my husband to the range and paid our entry fee, went to my car to get my range box and my husband informed me that the RSO said we weren't allowed to shoot, or more specifically,I wasn't. On asking the RSO why, he came off super mean and said that I had not picked up my brass on Mothers Day after shooting off 200 rounds of .22s and his guys had to pick it up and that wasn't fair so I couldn't shoot until next time.and he gave me complimentary passes instead of my money back. (I was too shocked to really react to that at the time.) He was very unpleasnat about it and another RSO was sitting close by to make sure I didnt argue. I was really surprised and said at least twice that I ALWAYS clean up my brass,I ALWAYS clean up other peoples brass...which is true at any range I go to. Also that day I had been shooting mostly my new to me 9mm and certainly not 200 rounds of .22. Either way,I know range rules and I obey them. I thought being treated like I was 7 and getting kicked out of the sandbox was a bit much for this ALLEGED transgression which I know for a fact did not happen. But thanks for ruining my day tall white rude man with the white goatee! I will absolutely not be back.Anybody want my complimentary passes?

Great range, views and staff have been going for the past year, will continue to go. Pima needs a place up in the northwest, but until then this is the place.

We drove out here to zero our hunting rifles. It is a little confusing because you have to coordinate cease fires with all the other shooters on the line. The pros were the friendly staff, cost, and not many people at the time we went. I would recommend they keep a range officer nearby at all times and coordinate the cease fires more organised like our local range. I also wish they were open on Thursdays. I donΓÇÖt mind shooting on BLM but it reallly helps to have a concrete bench for zeroΓÇÖing. I canΓÇÖt find any outdoor ranges in this part of the state open on Thursdays which happens to be the day before most opening day hunts occur. We really like to make sure our guns are on spot before we take them into the field after travelling. They do require and sell chamber flags for not too much money if you donΓÇÖt have them. Ultimately, IΓÇÖd prefer to go to the Sierra Vista Shooting Range because IΓÇÖm going to an outdoor range to shoot rifles and they just have a better setup for that. I prefer indoor ranges for my pistols. Again, both places are closed on Thursdays so I canΓÇÖt go to either of them when I need to.

The range is set up kind of poorly. This causes other shooters to shoot one another's targets. It's very annoying. The staff were cool and it was a fun time overall!

First time at this range to familiarize with our weapons for it has been a minute. The range masters were very patient and helpful. As were many of the people already established. They are very persistent in the range safety protocols. A lot to absorb, but understandable so. A lot that is common sense but overwhelming as to being among avid shooters. I have no doubt that over time it will become second nature. The range masters are very observant and on top of keeping it a safe pleasurable experience. We will return to this range for the safety measures in place. Thank you for providing a safe and affordable place to practice.

Amazing Scenery here. too bad its not worth the money, time or effort it takes to drive out here to have your day ruined and belittled. Use BLM land instead.

Upside: Low admission, sweet old lady working the register and a beautiful view. Downside: Range Officers are the absolute worst! Not only will they berate you for small mistakes but will continue to degrade and harass you the rest of your time there. The sign out front says ΓÇ£Leave with MemoriesΓÇ¥ but the only thing youΓÇÖll leave with is a horrible experience.

Captain Ranger shot my shoot day and my good mood to hell today. I had a productive weekend zeroing in my AK47 & AR15 and I was set to head out but wanted to pick up my brass as I give it to anyone who reloads 76.2x39 or 300 Blackout. Armed with a broom and dustpan I was confronted by young Captain Ranger who barked for me to step behind the yellow line where my brass wasn't. Okay jerk face, get it yourself. Not a pleasant encounter. Be nice dude and don't let your attitude f-up my otherwise nice shooting weekend. Everyone else was beyond helpful, but then you got "this guy" Hopefully he isn't there anymore.
