I love this place. Sporting clays course is mostly in the shade. One stop for shooting, archery, sporting clays, skeet, 5 stand, rifle and pistol ranges.

Every time I go out there, the staff is friendly and helpful. I must say, it's a 1st class experience. And being a state owned facility, the prices are extremely reasonable. One of the best kept secrets around. We did the skeet shooting trail this time and it was awesome.

Turcotte is a very nice facility. I shoot sporting clays here semi regularly and always enjoy it. The staff is always friendly and it doesnt cost much to utilize this great facility! MDWFP has some really nice facilities statewide with almost any outdoor opportunity available. Thankyou MDWFP!

This is a great place to sight in your rifle. Been coming here for years. BUT the older range master they have at the rifle range is the worst by far. Whether you are an experienced returning customer or a first time novice shooter he seems to make the day unenjoyable. Never had a bad experience like my last two visits.

Would be nice if the website would let people know when the range is closed, instead of finding a piece of paper on the gate following an hour drive.

This was a pretty clean place. They have a good bit of acres to provide customers an experience per type of weapon. Staff was nice and tries to work with customers on firing time and target moving / viewing times.

If anyone in the party makes a minor mistake, the faculty watch over you as if you were children. Personally it was not worth the money to be harassed the whole time being there. Would rate zero stars if I could and will now be going to spend my money at a professional shooting range instead of this barnyard.

Three guys visiting from Switzerland had an amazing time. The staff was exceptionally friendly and welcoming ΓÇö especially Pratt. He joined us, showed us around and taught us everything we needed to know (how to handle the shot gun and how to operate the sporting clay throwers). Afterwards we could continue by ourselves. It was a lot of fun. An afternoon that will be remembered!

Great venue for shooting off a bunch of rounds and getting ready for hunting season. It is $15 to shoot for the day; no more hourly or annual rates. Still a great deal. Staff is friendly and safety-focused. They make sure you have a good time too. Turcotte has an outdoor pistol range, 300-yard rifle range, skeet range, 5-stand, 12-station sporting clay course, and an archery range. They will mix up the sporting clay machines every few months to keep it fresh which I can appreciate. ItΓÇÖs a good mix of tough shots and easy shots. I like to step it up and do true pairs instead of report pairs on some stations. Plenty of fun for all plus you get a cart. I love the 3D archery range. I find it very relaxing to shoot off some arrows in the shade after being out in the sun. Some of the areas are overgrown and should be cut back but as long as you donΓÇÖt miss, you should be fine and be able to retrieve your arrows. Now we just need more ammo on the shelves.

I like the fact that it's free

The skeet range is the only part worth going to. Just find a field with a safe backdrop if you want to shoot pistols or rifles. The range is filled with a bunch of know-it-alls and crazy people. Not the types of people you want to be around when guns are present

Took my daughter for an afternoon shoot. Was an absolute blast. All the staff were exceptional and went above and beyond any of my expectations. Will definitely visit a lot more in the future.

This is a great range (especially the sporting clays), but some recent changes do not sit well with me. First, I used to get a year long range pass. Now you can't, you pay by the day. And visiting the range just three times now cost as much as the old year long pass! Second, steel targets can no longer be used on the rifle range. At this price point and considering what you're getting, it's hard not to join the Magnolia club or some other private range.

Absolutely loved my first visit to an outdoor rifle range. The range instructor guy made sure that everyone was being safe and not putting anyone in danger. The atmosphere was. I went on a Saturday during July and it was not crowded AT ALL. Although I was a bit nervous at first, the staff and fellow shooters at Turcotte helped make the experience wonderful. It was a welcoming atmosphere. I only planned on staying for an hour but ended up staying for almost 3. Time goes by fast when you're having fun. I will definitely be back for the pistol range and to visit the rifle range again. Come out and shoot!!!
