Vail Rod & Gun Club

My wife and I did a mini vacation and came across The Rod and Gun Club. I shot 5 stand clays and my wife watched. Really like that they had beretta over/unders that I could use saving hassle getting mine through TSA. McKenna took our call and patiently answered all my questions and was super helpful and friendly throughout the process! When we arrived she greeted us with a smile and really made sure to show us around and tell us about the history of the place. Big shoutout to her for excellent customer service. We went to the range and Henry, a 4th generation ranch Owner and T-Rang, the firearms instructor were amazing. They made us feel at home and helped with providing excellent instruction for skeet shooting. T-Rang did such a great job slowly explaining proper form and technique throughout the shoot. What made him so unique is that he made you feel like a million bucks when you hit or even missed a target. HeΓÇÖs a great instructor and Henry is a great asset to the overall experience. Anyone looking to escape for a few hours and have some fun shooting clays, this is the place. They also host weddings and work outings. Highly recommend this place. We will be back.

Was in town for business and had some extra time, so went and shot with Troy and Miranda. My shotgun shooting skills leveled up in a big way with just one hour with Troy. Super positive and safe environment for all ages and skill levels. Will definitely go back and see them! Highly recommended!

My family and I had an amazing day at the gun club, thanks to William and the entire team. Their support and encouragement were exceptional, making our experience both enjoyable and educational. The stunning views added to the day, and above all, we felt extremely safe throughout our visit. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking to enjoy a well-organized and secure experience!

Staff was awesome, went over the 10 stations for the 5 stand course. This is definitely a course that we will be back to.

This place is awesome! We had our family of 5 begineers (youngest was 11) go out there to shoot (most of us for the first time). The instructors were excellent and very safety focused. Could not reccomend this place more!

We had a great time! Made a last minute reservation. Henry and George took great care of our group of four. Some beginners, some experienced. Shot for about an hour. Henry is a killer instructor. His time is well worth the money.

William and Dan were both great. Had four people come and shoot a ton of clays over the course of an hour, great instruction for the three of us that were beginners. The 10 different launching stations made it a great variety and mix up of shots! Reasonable prices for ammo, $15/head for the reservation, and if you need instruction its $80/hour (this is per group, not per person).

My favorite experience rising horses! Over 20 years riding horses. I love this place.
