Best gun shop in the Area ! Best prices I have found . Last gun I got was $25 cheaper than other shops in the area . I went in to get me and my brother a gift matching sequential serial numbered guns no other shop would help me without a hefty fee. They told me they couldnΓÇÖt do it either, but when the two guns came in, they surprise me with sequential serial numbers . They go Above and beyond . I bought a brand new Ruger 45 caliber revolver from them. I went to the range and I had a bit of a jamming problem. I took it back to them and the old man there immediately took it back on the workbench. Took out his file come to find out there was some slag left from the manufacturing process. He straightened it all out for me took me downstairs and we fired a whole box of ammo to make sure itΓÇÖs good to go. I tried to slide him some cash for helping me out he refused. Said that he prides himself on customer service there . 99% of my gun and ammo purchasing is at this location Thank you Valley guns for all you do .

IΓÇÖve been mulling over leaving this review, but I feel like this experience needs to be shared so that others donΓÇÖt make the same mistake. I ordered a rifle to valley guns from PSA, and when it arrived they called me and informed me that they canΓÇÖt transfer it to me. The reason they wouldnΓÇÖt transfer it was because their ΓÇ£legal teamΓÇ¥ still considers pistol braces illegal. Now I am no lawyer by any means, but I believe the last ruling on the pistol braces was that they are indeed legal again. Very strange to me they are taking such a political stance in West Virginia of all places. Needless to say, this interaction, and the interactions I had from the different workers assisting with getting my rifle sent back to PSA were less than polite. IΓÇÖm not sure what customers have done to the employees at this store, but it seems they have become jaded and all three that I have talked with over the phone were rude (sharp toned, know it all mentality, did not care about the what I was asking). If you are looking for good customer service, or even a gun store/ range that honors your 2A rights, this store does not seem to be it.

I recently moved to the area and needed a good local gun shop. I'm thrilled I found family-owned Valley Guns. The folks there, from the owner and his daughter, down to every single employee, are just incredibly knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. No one has an "attitude" and you can ask any question and get a sincere, insightful, non-judgmental answer. I bought a rifle there and they helped me choose the proper scope for it, then set it up flawlessly the first time. Was able to go to their on-site rifle range and sight it in. As far as I'm concerned, if you're within driving distance of this place, you shouldn't think twice - it's a bullseye :-)

Went in to sight rifles before season and again as usual staff is awesome ,they were quick and got us set up in no time. Great shop great staff

Took my husbands bow in ΓÇ£per his requestΓÇ¥ and the guy was super nice and fixed it very quickly! He didnΓÇÖt even have to ask me any questions. Which was very helpful considering IΓÇÖm not the most knowledgeable on the subject of bows.

Great service. Been going to Valley off and on for years. They have always gone above and beyond regardless of who was behind the counter. So many gun store employees have bad attitudes, and I have yet to run across that here (whether myself, someone with me, or towards a stranger in the store). I have also found their prices to be reasonable and lower than a lot of pawn shops without the haggling. They have earned my business.

The staff was very nice and professional. They asked me if I needed help several times. I'd definitely recommend them if you're in the market for a weapon of some sort. I just like shopping around and getting information for any training for myself. I'll definitely be back because my son enjoys going here.

While they didnΓÇÖt have a very big selection the owner and his employees know how to make you feel at home, was my first time there but I will be returning after my experience.

Got the string replaced on my ten point wicked ridge $140.00 asked them to check it over to make sure their was no hair line cracks naked to the eye because the string jumped the pulley and blew apart in they said it was good no issues got it home sat it in it’s case for couple weeks then decided to go outside to target shoot in this is what happened (1st time trying to shoot it with new string) just wish it would have been checked in not just assumed would rather pay for it to be fixed right the first time now I gotta do everything all over again because it cracked the bottom one as well for when the top blew apart 😡😡😡 THANKS

I have been going here for 10 years. I absolutely love this place. Everyone is nice and full of info and ready to help. More stock of ammo and guns than you could ask for. They resale guns. Prices are the best. IF YOU DO NOT GO TO VALLEY GUNS 2, you are wasting your time and money.

Recently purchased a matthews V3 X from Valley Guns. Everybody in the shop is very friendly and willing to answer any questions. Had to take bow back for some adjustments and some questions to be answered. The gentleman that worked with me was very kind very informational will definitely recommend for anybody else thank you for your great service.

I called Valley Guns this afternoon and asked if they could help me set up my new night vision equipment on my crossbow to hunt preditors, they said sure just bring it in. So I take everything there and it turned out that I needed to buy a new scope so the equipment would fit, so I asked to purchase a 100$ scope that would work, BUT the scope didn't come with mounting rings, so I asked how much they were and he told me 20$, not much to ask, but I asked if they could throw the rings in since I'm buying a 100$ scope, and boy did the atmosphere change, the guy then proceeded to tell me that he was going to throw my scope back on and I could take my bow somewhere else, and he was also throwing around a few choice words for no reason, it was the older man in the shop, I have never been so disrespected as a Military Man who is one of the most respectful people that you could meet until I am disrespected I have never been treated in that manner while trying to patronize a business, I hope everyone else has a better experience than I did.
