Questions & Answers

Q: So why does your shop show online and on the door closed at 7pm on Friday's? Bc apparently your clocks are 10 mins fast and close early. I was there to pickup an online(paid for)order after work and was rejected bc your clocks are fast, that's B.S.

A: Eric sorry for the confusion and late response. I just saw this. Our clocks do run a little fast due to the range cooling off, and shutting down the air system. I apologize for the inconvenience. In most cases have people in the store until 7 so the doors stay unlocked. I'm very sorry, thanks.

Q: Does VRA (Ohio) mount and boresight rifles? If yes, what's the cost?

A: Tim yes we can help you with all of that. If you buy the items from us we will do all of that for free. If you bring in your own I believe it will be $35 to mount it. I would also suggest just renting a half hour on the range and they can help you get it dialed in on our 100 yard Range. Either way we can help thanks!

My wife and I went here for our first shooting experience. Our range office, Mike, was amazing. He showed us how to load our magazines and operate our handguns. He showed us the correct grip and stance. He talked to us a lot about safe handling inside our home and when carrying outside our home. We were very nervous since it was our first time shooting and we left feeling very confident in ourselves. I would highly recommend this place to women who want the guidance of an expert that is willing to put them at ease and get them excited to own guns. Thank you all for such an incredible experience!

The reason why I gave this place 3 stars . Is because I had purchased some firearms online. And had them sent to them. Make a long story short the guy that was doing my switch over to me. Did my AR-15 correct which I'm a CCW holder. When it came to do my Walther PDP he didn't use my CCW permit so basically I had to wait 4 to 5 days to even get my firearms I had to come back. But other than that I would have gave him five stars

Bought a few more guns that I need from these guys, they do great work and admit when they messed something up. Recently, I went to buy a Springfield Armory Hellcat Pro and they accidentally boxed up an XDS. Went back the next day and got it all sorted with no problems.

I recently visited Vandalia Range and Armory with a friend to practice shooting, and I had a fantastic experience. Upon entering, I was impressed by the cleanliness of the facility. Both the store area and the gun range were well-maintained, creating a welcoming atmosphere. The only noticeable mess was the usual bullet casings, which is expected in any shooting range, but even that was managed well. The bathrooms were also clean, which is a plus in any public facility. I brought my own gun, but I was pleasantly surprised by the extensive selection available for rent, as well as a variety of ammunition and target papers. The prices were very reasonable, making it accessible for shooters of all experience levels. Before heading to the range, I appreciated the requirement to sign a waiver/disclaimer, which added an extra layer of professionalism to the establishment. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable, and I noticed that they also offer instructors for anyone looking to improve their shooting skills. ItΓÇÖs a great resource for both beginners and seasoned shooters. Plus, for those interested in purchasing firearms, they have a solid selection available on-site. Overall, my experience at Vandalia Range and Armory was excellent, and I will definitely be returning. If youΓÇÖre in the area and looking for a reliable place to practice shooting, I highly recommend checking this location out!

Kyle took really great care of me. I'll definitely be back. Update ive used them as a ffa multiple times. Quick friendly service. They have some nice ammo sales sometimes. Took in a firearm for trade thinking they'd offer around 60% of the guns value, they offered 32%. I took it to another local shop without a range and they gave me 61%

My go to Dayton shooting range. From the pistol video targets to the 100 yard rifle range in the basement, to spot on service, and sales. I like them. They do minor gunsmith work too.

Courteous, polite informative and helpful. Shop has all the items you need or want at a fair price. More directional signage from US 40 is needed.

Friendly and Knowledgeable staff, Was greeted by Mckenzie, explained what I was looking for as a first time buyer. She listened to my needs and allowed me to see my choices as well as some other recommendations. No pressure to buy. I rented a couple of guns and tried them on the range, great ROs, again no pressure to buy. Returned the next day and rented a couple more guns to test fire on the range. Again there was no pressure to buy this or you should try that. Made my decision and purchased my first gun. Duane P went over the paperwork and sale with me, again very friendly and knowledgeable, no upsale on things I didn't need. Did explain Ammo options. As a first time gun buyer I really appreciated their knowledge ,experience and friendliness .I look forward to spending more time on the range with my purchase.
