While the Waco Gun Club offers a decent experience for shooting enthusiasts, it falls a bit short in some aspects. The club, known for its skeet shooting range, does provide a unique experience in Waco, Texas, but the overall experience could be enhanced. The price, while reasonable, doesnΓÇÖt fully align with the value received, especially when considering the limited hours of operation and the amenities provided. The staff is friendly, and the facilities are clean, but thereΓÇÖs room for improvement in terms of the rangeΓÇÖs offerings and the overall atmosphere. ItΓÇÖs a suitable option for a casual day of shooting, but for those seeking a more comprehensive experience, it may not fully meet expectations.

This is a very nice skeet range. Prices were more then reasonable. $10 per round for non-members. They may give a student or military discount. They are helpful with new shooters and hands off if you know what your doing.

First time visiting Waco Skeet & Trap Club. Had the chance to watch my younger brother practice for his Hill County 4H Shooting Sports Club. During this time had a chance to meet Billy Hopson and Shane Brassell. The place is clean, well kept, great price, and beautiful view.

The best place to shoot any shotgun sport that you want. They have trap, skeet, sporting clays, five stand and flush that can all be shot at a great price.

Misleading advertising. On their site, it is stated that the costs are $8.00. When I planned on going to the range, I was operating under the assumption that this was a flat rate per day per shooter, or an hourly rate per shooter, like it is at EVERY other range I've EVER been to. This is not the case. They are actually charging you $8.00 per box of ammo shot (even if it is your own). With the current costs of ammo, you are essentially looking at paying about $15 for every box of ammo you shoot at this range. Shooting 10 25-round boxes of ammo would've cost me $80. No thanks. I will give credit where credit is due however: The facilities were very nice, probably the nicest I've ever seen at an outdoor range. Although this is a big plus, the costs outweigh the benefits. If you have lots of cash, this is your place to go, hands down. If not, try somewhere else (I suggest lone star gun range in lockhart, which is only $10 per day per shooter I think).
