First time visiting and I'll definitely be coming back. Mike and Wanye are very professional gentlemen who respect firearm safety and provide an excellent time and service at their range. Special thanks to Mike for making it a great overall experience and for having patience with a novice shooter.

He said my black freind cant shoot even though I explained he had shot an AR with me before. He said he since he had never fired my 270 rifle we couldnΓÇÖt shoot because only an NRA instructor would be able to show him. The thing is he knew how to operate and had operated the AR before. Been a long time customer here but I thatΓÇÖs changing. The man in charge also became very upset and defensive when I said that.As retired army IΓÇÖve always gotten along well with the staff here but that changed when I brought a black person with me

My favorite range in the greater Houston area, period. No fudd rules, no bs. You pay a $20 fee for entry and a paper target included, and can shoot steel targets. There are separate pistol bays, and it appears you are allowed to draw from holster in some, didn't ask though. Staff is very friendly, and accommodating. They overheard us talking about wishing we brought our spotter, and gave us one to use. Can't really ask for much better.

Nice helpful staff, if your new to the range they will give you a thorough rundown of their rules and how they operate. Its definitely my go to range to shoot at, definitely recommend.

Wallis-Orchard gun range is a great place to shoot. I went there to shoot my rifle and make sure I was dialed in before a hunt. The owner, greeted me and outlined the rules and safety precautions for the range. I had an issue with my scope and he helped me re-zero my scope. He then helped me dial in my ballistics and shots out to 400 yards. He didnΓÇÖt need to go above and beyond to help me, but he did. I canΓÇÖt say thank you loud enough. He reminded me of a friend who taught me how to shoot and care for my guns. I will be a repeat customer and highly recommend Wallis-Orchard Gun Range! Thank you!

Great range. ROs were very professional and polite. I get the impression that if you donΓÇÖt have a general understanding of gun safety, or itΓÇÖs your first time shooting, youΓÇÖll be turned away. Great atmosphere. Will be back.

I brought my sister in law to come shoot for the first time. Considering I and every one else in the group is experienced in firearms. They told us we couldn't shoot here. Any inexperienced person has to come with an NRA certified instructor. Drove 30 mins for nothing. Extremely disappointed. Wish they would've made it clear when I called ahead.

I'm from Pennsylvania where you have to sacrifice the soul of your first born and sell a kidney to join a shooting club, just so you can shoot anywhere outdoors or halfway decent. So suffice to say, whenever I find a nice place to shoot in my travels (that is open to the public), it's a treat. And surprisingly, finding decent affordable spots to shoot in this part of Texas (Houston area) was a lot harder than I thought it would be. But this was an absolute gem of a spot. Incredibly friendly and professional folks. Rules are fair. And price is incredibly fair. 400 yard steel and paper range, plus some short range 180 degree shooting bays for pistol work. Definitely worth a visit if you are local or passing through.

We had an amazing experience at the range today. Mike went above and beyond helping us with our firearms and explaining the range, we will definitely be back and highly recommend for people who are new to guns.

Nice place. ItΓÇÖs set up well with ranges up to 400 yards. The older gentleman is really nice, and enjoyable. The other guy that I encountered has a bit of an authority complex. Outside of the guy that feels the need to make sure everyone knows heΓÇÖs in charge, itΓÇÖs a nice place.

These guys are great. Really friendly and they have steel targets out to 400 yards. One of the only two ranges you should go to.
