Weber Wildlife Federation Shooting Range

Q: IΓÇÖve never shot here but my question is do the targets you bring have to be paper or can you set up steel ones further down range IΓÇÖm happy either way just wondering
A: You can do both. There is sometimes a gong setup for your pleasure. Pack out what you pack in please!

Q: Im planning on going shooting today, and never been here. If I just wanted a day pass or a "lane" like other indoor ranges what do they charge and where can i pay? Also what do I need to bring in regards to getting my targets up?
A: Passes are $20 from Smith & Edwards, Valley market, Hy & Mike's; they cover the entire season. Most people use card board boxes to put targets on unless you have stands or something like that. The ground is pretty hard and rocky so spikes and such dont really work very well. There are also fixed stands and gongs at 200 and 300 yards. Just pick up whatever you put out to shoot, there is a dumpster and porta John on the property for all of that.

A: Call Kent's Shooters Supply for the pass. I don't know amount but its not too much. For targets, plan to bring your own. There are few, if any, target stands.

A: They don't sell day pases but the annual pass is $30.00. You can get them at the places listed above

Q: When does the range close for the season?
A: It really depends on the weather. I was there Sunday and it was open.

Q: Can you shoot shotguns here
A: No you cannot.
- Redemption Jame (5 years ago)
Q: Is the use of crossbows permitted? Also are what hours is the range open?
A: Dawn to dusk gates closed at sundown
- Adam clark (5 years ago)
Q: Can I shoot my pistols and rifles
A: Yes. No shotguns
- Daniel Speer (a year ago)
Q: Can you bring guests
A: Everyone who goes must get a pass from one of the local stores.
- Patrick Wharton (One And Only) (4 years ago)
Q: When do they open in 2020
A: I believe it is in April
- Brian Federspill (4 years ago)
Q: Is this place open only summer ?
A: Yes, I think it opens around April time frame. Make sure you have your permit before you go. You can buy it at that gas station in Eden on the way there.

Q: When does the range open ??? Does anyone know???
A: No, the sign on the fence outside the ranch says from sun up to dusk if I remember correctly. They come and shut the main gate

Good range when itΓÇÖs open. Have wasted many trips down there for nothing.

Other than having to remind other shooters to not point their guns at me, itΓÇÖs been a great range. Just a reminder to everyone to keep your firearms down range and follow the 4 fundamental safety principles. Be a responsible gun owner.

I am here to update my review and to say that IΓÇÖve had a membership here for a couple years now and I definitely recommending the shooting range. If you would like to do it yourself and there is no range master there so you have to be very courteous of other people that are at the range and make sure that nobody is live firing wall. You are at the range on your lane. Call Jayden no itΓÇÖs a fantastic range and you pick up your membership at the Smith and Edwards in Perry Utah. Happy hunting, happy rain shooting and enjoy your afternoon or evening that you may have at the range.

Good range that's out of the way. Has fairly long range targets in addition to short range, so great for all gun types. A huge disadvantage is that unless you are coming regularly, it isn't worth going since you need a $30 season permit to use it per person. Also really annoying that you have to buy that miles away, so adds to the inconvenience. Essentially really only for gun enthusiasts or locals given the permit and being so out of the way.

I like the lack of range officers, but really wish there were options for a guest pass or family pass. The rate has been raised to $30 and its hard to convince someone to spend $30 for a single visit if they just want to check out the range with me. I like that its not too far, and the people I met were nice. The range goes out to 300 yards which is fantastic. But it always ends up being my last choice if I want to shoot with a friend.

This place is the best. No range officers to tell you what you can and cannot do. Just a sign posted with the rules. Police yourselves and be safe. I was told there is a camera in case something does happen. But everyone I have met here is very kind and respectful. Great people here.

Low key atmosphere. Well maintained. You need to bring your own target stands and such. The membership is $20 and is good from March-November
