Questions & Answers

Q: Do you offer ladies night? Id like to eventually puchase a gun for protection. But want to fire a few before I do and get comfortable around them.

A: Sounds like Thursday nights are "Ladies' Nights." Check out their website, they have lots of info there.

- Dan Klapstein (6 years ago)

A: Every Thursday, I believe. All else otherwise, you'll need to take a class, which they do offer. Membership is also required, unless you have a companion who is already a member. You'll need a firearm of your own to rent what the range offers.

- Travers Alvirez (6 years ago)

Q: What do you have to do to shoot your own guns/rifles?

A: Bring them in. No open carry. Only approved ammo.

- jarathehut (6 years ago)

A: As others stated; join, bring you firearms in (cased or holstered) and get your ammo checked. FYI, pellet rifles are not allowed.

- Michael Cull (6 years ago)

A: Must be a member.

- Dana Martin (6 years ago)

A: Also your ammo must be brass.

Q: I'm 22 new to guns, what is the fee for training and I bought a SMITH & WESSON ENGRAVED 1911 CENTERFIRE PISTOLS is this gun allowed in your shooting range?

A: So long as you're shooting brass cased ammo, a 1911 is fine. Check the website for their handgun 101 class. They also have a class on cleaning and maintenance.

- Greg Bulmash (6 years ago)

- Wave Storm (6 years ago)

A: I usually go in the afternoon. Between 1 and 230p with no problem getting a lane. I believe Thursday is lady's day, small spike in the late afternoons generally. At least the Thursdays I've been there.

Q: Hello, three questions: 1. Is it possible to zero in a long gun at 100 yds or 100 meters? 2. Is 7.62x39 and . 308 permitted? 3. Does the 7.62x39 need to be brass?

A: The ranges are all about 25 yards long, 7.62x39 is permitted if you have a silver membership, and brass and nickel casings are allowed. No steel or aluminum. Not sure about .308

Q: Why does no one answer the phone when I call when you are open? I have called for hours once, over and over with no answer. Terrible service.

A: They answer every time but their focus is on those customers in front of them. Let it ring, they'll get to you.

I just visited them to have an inherited gun assessed. They were professional and tolerant of my total ignorance of guns in general. Now I have a plan on what to do with the 30 year old gun. They also took the same era ammo for disposal and sold me a lock to secure the gun while I still have it. Thank you gentlemen.

Great, clean range. Friendly staff and not too many rules, while also maintaining a safe environment. Highly recommend for beginners and anyone wanting to take classes. They have a good selection of rentals and ammo, as well as a separate shop for weapons, ammo and accessories.

Pro Shop: 1 Star The pro shop is small and has a very limited selection of ammunition, gear and firearms accessories. They do keep a relatively decent variety of pistols and rifles (many in pistol calibers) in stock. They also have a SilcerShop kiosk where you can submit fingerprints and they keep a few suppressors in stock. The 1 star rating has to do with their staff lack of 27 CFR Part 478 regulatory understanding and familiarity NAF Forms processing. If you choose to process a Form 1 or Form 4 with WCAN, do your homework and make sure the staff member working behind the counter knows what they are doing. I ran into an issue with WCAN where they refused to transfer an item with an APPROVED Form 4 because they didn't understand the ID verification requirements and wanted additional documentation after the fact. Once a Form 4 is approved, that firearm or regulated accessory is your property. For a FFL to then refuse transfer is a beyond unprofessional and unacceptable. Transfer at your own risk. Indoor Range: 3 Stars The indoor range is pretty basic but nice. It can get very busy and crowded in the two lane rooms and the brass routinely gets out of control. The range masters are very strict (which is nice), but they can get a bit authoritarian at times. I would not recommend any long guns or any firearms that need a significant amount of adjustment, as you will not be able to use any of the benches to work on your firearm. All firearms must remain on the line at all times.

The staff at the range were wildly off-putting. I understand the hectic nature of a range when there's so many people, but there was no kindness, just yelling. Didn't even get to the range, just picked up my range bag and left

Great place feel very safe there… I like that it’s membership only and that they make you watch a video and sign a waiver and then even take it a step further to make sure you’re not an idiot that’s a minimum in my book as far as this hobby goes, thank you

Ugh. I think I have ptsd from staff treatment. If you are thinking of buying something here or employing this place for a product think twice about using this place unless you look just like the staff, or maybe you are looking for an expertise of being treated badly for absolutely no reason, and for an extended time so it feels like torture.

This is a really nice gun store with good prices. But I have to say Carl treated me very well and they all are very knowledgeable!! Their service made it a superior transaction.

I had bought several firearms in 2020 and never used them and they sat idle at home for years. I felt so guilty that I had spent so much money and not knowing how to use them. Luckily, I knew of a gun range close by and started to do some research. I was happy to hear that they offered classes to get me up to speed on gaining knowledge of my firearms. I took the Intro to Handguns and the Fundamental class and I felt so much more confident with my 9mm handguns. The instructors were amazing and informative. I look forward to the ongoing training with them and I had also upgraded my collection with them. Highly recommend this place.
