The pics are the range now, nothing taken care of ,Targets left from days before out in field, brass and trash... The range is a disaster and trashed.Go figure they put all that money into it and make a big appearance with the big shots then this ..Fights ,not safe to just go alone and shoot anymore especially the weekends.Idiots just shooting the target holders to see them fall apart ,Unsafe rapid fire..from idiots just getting a gun and wanting to play gangster..worse yet people that don't even speek english and might not really be able to own a gun who knows,But The way it looks is on paper it all looks good but for those who used the range to enjoy or bring the family out to enjoy the sport...From the looks of it ,That is in the past for this range..Would not recommend this range if you want to just go to shoot and enjoy the sport..They put pics up from after renovated but this is it now..sad sight.period...One final thought..Now you get 'big groups' of non english speaking people at the range. So how is this safe when you can Not explain the rules or stop firing and get behind the line during No fire times ? But yet they are allowed to just go there and basically do as they please...This is Very Unsafe and is happening more often now and should Not be allowed because the R.O. if any are there, not just some volunteers, cant advise them on anything or explain any rules of the range. If you can not understand or speak english so you can be told or read the rules and safety of the range,Then you should not be alloud on a firing range. If there is any concerns for public safety...As I said though,Just my thoughts and concerns. This place has become a trash pit period ! Some of the pics are just from a very recent and unsafe feeling visit with people just dumping mags as fast as possible and shooting what ever is on the range..

Range safeties aren't full time anymore (not sure how often they're there). Makes it a more user-friendly experience without them. Everyone seems to be doing a good job ensuring we're staying safe still and keeping the place clean.

Was a member of east Alabama gun club in the past but currently the membership is lapsed. While in Lagrange my cousins and I swung by to help sight in a new gun they built and wow was I surprised at the quality of this range. While itΓÇÖs smaller and there are no private bays like east alabama if you come during the week and itΓÇÖs not too crowded youΓÇÖll easily have the space you need. There seems to always be a range officer on site and the one we had was unbelievably helpful. WeΓÇÖre all admittedly green at the sport and he was very kind in adjusting our habits around safety and reinforcing the requirements of the state and the facility. While not required, I brought up the fact that I wish I remembered to buy a chamber flag to bring and he went inside and got us some Georgia state wildlife ones. I wish I caught his name and will update this review next time I go so yall can say hello and get some advice from him. For a free range this has all the bells and whistles too. Target stands in each bay that seem to be well maintained and if you forget your stapler there are at least two hanging on the walls provided. The hot cold system is the best IΓÇÖve seen as well, but remember IΓÇÖm fairly new. Nice loud buzzer when the range is cold and you canΓÇÖt miss the lights. Really appreciate that. For a free range provided and maintained by the state you canΓÇÖt get any better. Other recent reviews have photos of trash and brass everywhere and targets left out. I do not doubt this experience as you can clearly see itΓÇö but when we went yesterday it was spotless. We left it in the same state we found it and if everyone does their part in cleaning after use this range will always be a great spot to visit. Only downside is the bathroom was a bit rough for my wife who likes to hangout when weΓÇÖre shooting. There is a gas station a few miles down the road though for those that canΓÇÖt handle it.

This is a really nice range. The problem recently with the range is they are unable to hire enough range masters to oversee safety there. I will not go when a lot of other shooters are there. I value my body without any extra holes in it.

I've never actually been there. I passed by the area where it's located, however being an avid marksman myself I feel truly fortunate having a safe environment like this to practice my second amendment right safely. I'll have to go over and check it out one day so that I can post some useful information.

Was there today to sight in rifles for the fall deer season and took in good safety tips from the range officer while conducting business. The place has nice facilities for sure and is safely run with friendly staff.

First time ever using a shooting range. VR was the range master in charge. He was great in explaining and helping me learn the proper procedures when using the range. After 2 hours, I was fully aware of gun range etiquette and safety measures everyone takes. I only screwed up procedures about a dozen times. But now I'm definitely more confident in helping to keep the range a safe place!! Thank you VR!

Absolutely fantastic place, both of the young men that were there are extremely friendly and helpful. I visited the range before taking my sons so I could check it out and get some more information. Both of them took the time to walk me through the rules of the range, and answered all of my questions and more. When I returned the following Saturday with my sons, they were extremely helpful, and even helped walk my youngest son through some trigger pull work to help his accuracy. As an Air Force veteran myself, I was pleased to have two range masters who are prior service as well. I have to admit I was kind of shocked and amused that someone would refer to a Marine veteran as a "punk kid", it couldn't be further from the truth. As for yelling at people, they didn't even raise their voices when the line was hot or cold. On a live fire range, if you're getting repeatedly spoken to by the range master, I'm going to go out on a limb and say the problem isn't the range master... Can't wait to go back, it's my new favorite range!

Went to this range to check it out compared to the Clybel one and I think I just found my range for WPSR is something I prefer over Clybel especially since they go up to 150yds. Staff there is super friendly and I will be sure to go back even thought its a bit far....however safety first so WPSR will be my go to range going forward.
