Q: How reliable are the range hours? I am mostly interested in the rifle range. Seen a couple reviews complaining about the lack of range monitors. Is it worth it?
A: It's a lot of volunteers, have to give them a break. Call beforehand to make sure a range master is on duty.

Last time I went I got yelled at for shooting my .22lr more than one round per second, because the neighbors would "think I was shooting full auto". Wouldn't recommend.

Great place to sight in your rifle/shotgun for deer season. Help is helpful and friendly. Place has been upgraded recently, and is usually clean. Edit: I let my membership to this place expire back in october, and here is why. I dont take back what I said about the place being clean, and it was a great place to shoot. However, on the rifle range last time I was there, there was an older gentleman wearing a hat that said "veterans for trump". He was getting after people left and right about how they need to STAY BEHIND THE YELLOW LINE, and how if they didnt stay behind the yellow line he was gonna personally go before the board and have their membership revoked, and then he got after me for using the wrong target bracket which I had no indication of, there was no sign or label indicating that it was for shotguns, not rifles. Then, the whole time he talked trash about people who come there and shoot up their target frames, and how they should be forced to pay for using them. He said "if you cant hit the target at 25 yards, youre a moron and I wouldnt trust you with a gun anyways". He was extremely extremely overbearind and rude to everyone there, and you could tell everyone was uncomfortable. He acted like we all knew everything we werent supposed to be doing, and were just being deliberately annoying, even though probably most of those people come there oncr a year to sight in a rifle. Just a pompous jerk. I am not renewing my membership because of guys like that. I know the 4 rules of gun safety, and in addition to that I understand the range rules of the range flag, having the chamber flagged/bolt open, all weapons uncased only on the firing line, etc. This guy was just out of control, and getting after people for stepping over HIS YELLOW LINE. This isnt the first time he behaved this way, but that was the last time ill ever sit through it. I will never ever come back. -signed a 3 year member

Enjoyed this range. Safety procedures at the long range are great, both flags and lights to alert those in the bays that shooters are down range. Yellow lines are clearly marked to keep those inexperienced shooters away from their guns whilst others are down range. The pistol bays are extremely safe, concrete walls to protect those around and clearly define a line of fire.

They have a basic club house that works well for our fishing club meetings. They also have 5-Stand and trap shooting but you have to be a member to use them.

It was my first time. Local power was out when I got there. So they couldn't process credit card payments. Therefore, I could not become a member. However, the staff and patrons were very helpful and gave me a great deal of information. Will be back to join shortly.
