MASSIVE WARNING. BRING CASH OR CHECK NO CREDIT we went here and voice to text did not mention this because you just ask the location of whittecar range and it seems and I am hoping this changes without checking the exact name of the range there is NO WAY TO KNOW you can't use credit and it was so frustrating and gas wasting to go running around town trying to get 18 bucks and if the owners see this PLEASE GET A CREDIT CARD READER. Otherwise.. great range really nice people there got to try some other guns highly recommend going here BUT REMEMBER BRING CASH OR CHECK

IΓÇÖve been here several times while visiting my family. Compared to the ranges We have here in Washington state, this is a paradise. The staff are knowledgeable, reasonable. The rules are safe without being onerous. By far the most important factor, is the atmosphere. You could bring your entire family to teach your children how to shoot and you fit in. You could go alone and share good conversation with the enthusiasts that share the range. You could bring a girl on a date. Nobody looks at you like youΓÇÖre a freak just because you enjoy shooting guns. I will definitely be coming back.

This place is no good. Its really a shame that its the only range in the Bitterroot. You're better off just going up into the woods to sight things in

Place is a joke. Steel targets are all blown apart, backer boards need replacing and the refuse to update the closing time and claim google "stole" their information. Getting a membership in Missoula after this one expires

Range is fine but some of the staff are very rude. The range officer at the range we used was nice but the guy in the office was needlessly rude, almost like they wanted us to feel unwelcome and not come back. Mission accomplished.

Every time I go I have to deal with some rude RO with a chip on his shoulder. Been shooting all my life and never had such consistent issues. If you guys cant be civil to new faces I'm not surprised you're having to increase your range dues from $70 to $90... I didnt catch his name but the first time I met the old bald RO I'm referring to he was literally screaming "I know more than you" at me when I took my dad to the range last thanksgiving. (for the record, he was 100% wrong) I wouldnt even have argued but he didnt even bother telling us he was a RO before shouting in our faces. Shame because the range itself is decent but I dont come out and put my money down to have to brown nose some old man just so he'll act like a human being. Management needs to learn how to treat people with some basic respect.

The range is a very well thought out layout of handgun, rimfire, and center fire ranges. We visit to sight in our hunting rifles each year and the experience is always great! ItΓÇÖs obvious that management care about safety and keeping the facility in good shape. Range officers are often on duty to make sure the range is safe and efficiently run. We even got some shooting advice from alone who is also a certified firearms instructor! We love this place and will continue to enjoy it!

Recently joined and very satisfied with ranges. Friendly staff working the office. And so far every shooter IΓÇÖve encountered on the ranges have been very courteous and mindful of others. Very clean and well kept. Wished IΓÇÖd joined years ago. Best thing going since thereΓÇÖs a lack of Any indoor ranges in Ravalli or Missoula Counties.
