Just signed up for my annual membership. 1st time there was this past Sunday. I was greeted by every staff member and met the owner right away not knowing he was the owner. Immediately Joe offered me some delicious deer sausage and had his crew help me bore sight my slug gun and new scope. Walt hung with me the whole time and learned me alot about my moa adjustments and he had my scope zeroed in 3 shots. My 1st 4 shots I hit clays 110 yards out 4/4. These guys are great and know what they're doing . Great staff. Thank you Joe, Walt, Randy, and Terry. Looking forward to getting back there asap.

I've been to Wicen's range four times now in the last calendar year (rifle and handgun only). I drive nearly 1.5 hours to be there; it's one of the few outdoor ranges that doesn't require full membership and allows you to shoot all day. I'm on the fence when it comes to my opinions of Wicen's range. Some of the ol'timer safety officers out there aren't super friendly/inviting at first and I see how they can be off-putting to new comers. The younger safety officers seem to have a pretty good attitude but they are outnumbered by the old guys 5:1. Once you get past the old guys (I'm 52 so that says something), then you have to contend with shooting from a concrete enclosure. At the rifle range, you are not able to stand. You can shoot from a bench or prone (one bay), only. It's not the end of the world if you are zeroing your rifle or generally only shoot this way when hunting and need the practice but if you are looking to stand, kneel, or fire a rifle from any other position, never mind moving, this is not the place for you. This is not the place to practice transitioning from primary to your side arm, practice emergency, or tactical reloads. Unless you have a 6-inch barrel, you are not able to shoot 100 yards with a handgun. I will say, that anyone who complains about it only being a 100 yards, needs to stop. Look at their website. It clearly says they are 100 yards only so there shouldn't be any surprises. Go elsewhere if you need to stretch out. The handgun area is fine. No issues there. You can stand and shoot, just like most ranges. Again the only limitation is the lack of rapid fire. And they are pretty tight on rapid fire. I had an accidental double tap on my handgun and I heard the safety officer's radio immediate come to life making sure everyone was OK - he asked me to not do that. It's fine - it's their range and their rules but a little over the top. A pretty basic drill is two to the body and one to the head but you can't do that at Wicen's, at least at speed. The range office has some basic targets for purchase. You can also buy clay discs there and they allow you to put it on the berm at 100 yards to shoot, which is fun. Shooting at paper targets doesn't give the same feedback that blowing up a clay disc at 100 yards. Be sure to bring a chamber flag - they require them and if you don't have them will sell them to you. They also sell merch. Overall, it's a decent range for zeroing or getting a little target practice for rifle. The handgun range is on par. Even as a 52 year old, some of the "old guys" rub me the wrong way and maybe that says more about me but if you read the negative reviews, you'll see that it gets mentioned a few times. What I like about Wicen's range is that it's pretty low key and it hasn't been busy the four times that I've been there on a Saturday or Sunday. No more than half of the rifle bays have been filled while I was there. There's only six'ish handgun bays so they can fill up but then everyone goes home and they are empty so it's hit or miss. I do wish they would consider or find a way to provide open rifle bays for users to stand and shoot, maybe even transition from rifle to pistol at the same target (I can do this at RTSP but it's in doors and dark). These are skills some of us want to train and we need an outdoor location that provides the space to do that. Based on how old some of these reviews are, it's unlikely Wicen's is looking to make any changes, so know what you are getting before you arrive and you should be content.

Not a young person's range, you have to space out your shots or the Elmer Fudd Clientelle will get their depends in a knot. Employees were breathing down my neck because I had my sister with me and were creepy about her. We left pretty quickly because she felt uncomfortable.

Very nice 100 yard rifle range, well run with exceptional safety officers and staff, who have always been ready to help 👍. Same for the pistol and shotgun ranges. 😀 They make it fun again, like it was with my grandpa.

Been here a couple of times. It's a nice outdoor range. Plenty of lanes to shoot and with a nice amount of space so you don't feel as crammed like in the indoor range. The rules are reasonable and the safety is taken seriously without being ridiculous, so everyone has a good time. RSO seem like a bunch of decent guys who are actually very helpful, which for someone who is somewhat new to the 2A, it is much appreciated.

I highly recommend Wicen's range! Almost 100 years in business, with more than two dozen sheltered shooting lanes set on a beautiful Bucks County farm. (no photos allowed due to safety). Safety is #1 with the Chief Range Safety Officer and two other RSO's on the rifle and pistol ranges conducting routine oversight and enforcing rigorous safety checks (magazines out, range flag in the breech) during breaks before anyone is allowed downrange. Very professional setup here with very clear rules and breaks to reset targets. I feel very safe bringing my son to shoot with me and it's a lot of fun to shoot outside! Everyone is friendly - law enforcement, veterans, hobbyists, and newbies can interact, learn and improve their skills here. Cliff even spent time helping me find a loose screw from my gun - thanks again!

Myself and a friend went to break in my new Colt M&P AR 15 but also brought along some other weapons. The staff might be the most ridiculous thing Ive ever seen...all dressed like western sheriff's and very impressed by themselves. My favorite part of the day had to be when one of the "Ranger" told me I had my finger on the trigger and suggested that I might want to get some training from the 20 something "Ranger" who was a Marine. I keep quite and was polite and thanked him. Later when we getting into the car my friend was inquiring why I had not told the guy that I was a Marine for ten years, a former Primary Marksmen Instucter at Parris Island and had also spent the last 13 years in the US Army? I would have if I thought it would have changed anything, I said. It was almost impossile to have a good time at this range, and that is all on the staff...just horrible

Love this place. The staff are very knowledgeable and helpful. I was nervous to go somewhere new as I am just learning the basics and I wasn't sure what to expect. I just went for the first time today. I already know I will be a member for years to come. Seriously, can't say enough good things about this place. Thank you!

This place is awesome. Very professional and safe. As long as you are respectful and listen to the range safety officers you will have no problems. If you are looking to learn how to use firearms properly in a controlled environment then this is the perfect place to go. If you are an experienced shooter this is also a great place to go.

Great place to go shooting! IΓÇÖve been going here off and on since I was old enough to shoot as a teenager. It sure has changed. And what I mean is they have changed with the times on gun safety and range safety. It used to be just a good old farm where you went shooting in the back. You used to pay a guy in a rocking chair $5 or $10 and shoot whatever and almost where ever. Now thereΓÇÖs lanes and RSO(range safety officers) on the line making sure your ok and safe. This is a GREAT place to come for the day. ItΓÇÖs a flat rate fee for the day(+); they have targets and clay pigeons for purchase (+); and itΓÇÖs outside which believe it or not, for those who are not firearm people, outside is a better thing! Not all choked up in some small box range. The first time you go you do pay an extra $10 fee for someone (RSO) to go over rules, show you layout, and watch you to make sure your safe. If your a regular shooter and never been here itΓÇÖs pretty awesome, and for those who want to go shooting for the first time, grab a gun & ammo and come see it. PS they also have shotgun clay pigeons with the shooter to rent which is fun. This is my go to place for now.

Great place. Staff is friendly and willing to help out with any problems that may occur with your gun. The rules may seem strict from reading it on their website, but once you're at the range you don't even notice it and it runs smoothly.

I visited for the first time this past weekend, along with my 13 y/o son who has never shot before. I am experienced but I was a little apprehensive taking my son for the first time since most ranges are condescending towards beginners. I am also very safety conscious especially with my son. We spent over three hours there and had an excellent day of shooting, I could not have asked for a better experience for my son's first time at a range. I will say all personal we came in contact with were courteous and professional. My son was nervous and so was I having him with me but these folks knew that and patiently walked us through the rules of the range in an authoritative but professional way. We started with rifle, the staff stayed close enough to us to make sure we were practicing safety but gave me space enough for me to teach my son. Went to pistol next, the staff stayed closer to us and actually gave some very good safety instructions to us since it was my son's first time shooting a pistol. The facility was good, the staff was good but the safety was excellent. This place isn't the cheapest, you can do this cheaper at an indoor range with a membership but you get what you pay for. I would much rather pay a little more and have a pleasant safe experience rather than taking my son to some of the wild west indoor ranges in the area. We will definitely be going back soon.
