Good free range courtesy of DNR. Has a pistol, rifle and shotgun range which are well kept. Staff are friendly and create a safe, yet relaxed environment. Would definitely recommend as a good shooting venue for all firearms

very nice range. have rules that make you feel safe and are enforced by ranger on site. Chad, ranger, was friendly, patient and professional. He took his time and clearly explained the rules of the range. we had a great time.

Only been there once and won't be back. I'd give 0 stars if that was an option. 1st:There's only 2 distances to shoot from: 25 yards for pistol and 50 yards for rifle. That's ok if you're just trying to "get on paper" with your rifle but other than that, it's pretty useless. And who trains at 25 yards only with a pistol?!! 99.9%, give or take, of self defense situations happen from 0-7 yards. What good is a 25yd ONLY range gonna do for anyone that wants to protect themselves and others if you cant train at realistic distances?! Also, you can't shoot your pistol on the 50yd range because it's "rifle only" and vice-versa. No rifles on the pistol range. I'd rather pay to shoot somewhere else with reasonable options and knowledgeable staff than to step foot at this place again. Not to mention, the range officer was on his phone the whole time and only left his little hut 1 time to answer a question I had. He looked at me like I had 2 heads because he had no clue what I was talking about. How can you be a range safety officer if you're not at least semi-well versed in firearms?!! I'm disappointed in the whole situation. Whoever hired and vetted him is probably worse than he is. My advice is FIND SOMEWHERE ELSE TO SHOOT.

I met with an old friend at Wilber Wright when the place first opened September 14, 2024. My friend and I had been previously but there was a new range master this time around. He gave a pretty good talk about the rules and safety at the range. I felt more safe than I had in the past because of this man. He kept everyone doing their thing and I can say IΓÇÖm going back soon. I didnΓÇÖt catch his name but my friend and I would both give him two thumbs up for the way he ran the place.

Amazing place for free shooting of handguns, rifles and shotguns. Managed by very nice range DNR officer. Went on a Sunday morning, still found a spot just after 5 mins of waiting.

Came out there for the first time. Drove from Greenfield to get some range therapy. The range office was nice and explained the rules of the range clearly. I was the only one out there today. I will be making this my ΓÇ£go toΓÇ¥ for pistol and rifle.
