Great spot to go shooting. They have several bays for pistol, long gun, shotgun, 22 and combo. You can buy common ammo from them and also rent full auto or even a 50 cal

Have been a couple of times with son and once with wife. Both of their first times, and trained them on .22 range. Was nice because it's away from the larger caliber guns, so not quite so loud/intimidating. Saturdays can be pretty busy, but took wife on a Friday so would be less people, and there was only 1-2 others most of the time we were there. Rentals were easy and able to swap between pistol and rifle to try different styles. .22 range is steel target only. There's a paper target range also for all pistol calibers, another steel range for pistol calibers, and then you have the rifle range (plus there's additional ranges for members). Also, no rapid fire rule. .22 range isn't under terrace (but can get shade from trees), other 3 are covered terrace.

This is a great outdoor range with targets out to 140 yards. Range officers are great and educational for first time shooters. They have some cool rentals and have instructors available for private lessons at a reasonable price. Eric taught me a thing or two and was able to identify some bad habits I had with ergonomics. I personally hate indoor ranges so for me, windrock is the way to go. Thanks for keeping our god given 2A rights alive and well 🙏.

Whether youΓÇÖre traveling or a local, Windrock Shooting range is a must visit. The owner, Eric, provided us an experience we will not forget. There is a wide selection of weapons to choose from that you can rent. His hospitality and generosity will not be forgotten.

Cheapest and best shooting range around the entire area of knoxville, oak ridge, maryville. First time I went I just had a basic shooting training and was good on targets. But trainers helped me several times to give me tips with no charge. If you have membership, you dont even need to pay to rent guns. Eric is one that of the best instructors if you need training.

Absolutely wonderful experience at Wind Rock. Jerry, Ray and Graham in the office were so helpful. My fiance and I brought our 13 year old for his first experience at a shooting range. Age limit is 12 years. They offer gun rental. We rented an AR-15 and brought a personal firearm. We will definitely return again soon. The shooting areas have shade and they provide safety glasses and ear protection.

I got to take lesson with Eric today. It was so great!!! I am a firearms beginner, and this lesson really helped me out significantly. We worked on my grip and improved it immensely, among other things. He had me WAY more accurate and confident than when I started. I will definitely be getting more lessons. It's so nice to be outdoors. The scenery is beautiful, and the gun range feels natural. A relaxing vibe for sure.

Very nice outdoor range. They have two pistol ares they call bays. A 22 cal only bay. A shotgun bay and rifle range. Most areas are covered open air except the shotgun bay. Everyone I have dealt with has been very nice and helpful

I've been to shooting ranges all through FL, and several here in TN. Windrock has been my favorite by far. Excellent range setup and steel targets for both rifle and pistol.

Great for me! I was sighting in a brand new 30-06 range max at 160-165 yards plenty good. Not shooting at an animal any farther than that anyway. Will be back again and again!

Sounds like they had a lot more to offer then what I thought. The longest rifle range was ~150 yards. If you are into 3 gun or tactical shooting this is the place to be...

Great range! Great prices! Friendly helpful owner he answered all my questions. Friendly people when I was there too! People were offering to let me shoot their guns, now that hasn't happened in awhile. My new favorite place to get range time in.
