Q: How much does it cost ? Do they charge you to use one of there guns ? How much is the ammo ?
A: It's $12 for a lane and you can have up to 2 other people accompany you. It's $20 if you rent one of their guns instead of bring your own, and they do have ammo but many times their supply will run low so it's recommended that you bring your own.

A: No. Pistol, Slugs, 22LR

Q: How old do you have to be?
A: 14 to shoot a handgun. Im not sure the age for a rifle. My 11 year old was able to shoot the rifle.

A: $12 for 1/2 hour $20 for an hour. It's $20 to rent a gun, $1 for target. Ammo varies. Your best buying your own ammo else where and bring it in. You can bring your own gun.

Place closed "for the summer" in March, then went silent and closed down all their social media and left us with 0 explanation. Disappointed as there is no where else to go that doesn't require expensive memberships or a trip out of Sioux city.

I'm here at 1030 on Sunday and the doors are locked and no one is here...why do you advertise your open on Sunday day but no one is here. Sunday is one of my only days to come and shoot and now I cant...

Nice to have an indoor gun range in Sioux City, 4 gun lanes and 2 archery lanes. Reasonably priced and doesn't require a renewing membership. Friendly and inviting staff takes my review to 5 stars.

Would be 5 stars if there were normal hours. Average gun range nice staff good prices. Bring your own ammo.

Always closing before their posted time, if you guys close earlier, i suggest you fix that. Drove 30 mins for nothing.

The staff is very unintelligible regarding the laws of firearms. The expectations for even an employee of a firing range to be armed with that type of knowledge is unreasonable but there's a fine line between providing false information on what you think the answer is and simply admitting you don't know. The owner is 100% in the same boat.

Love to shoot here and wish I had more time to do it. They always treat you with respect and you get to stay warm and dry. They have an awesome facility and now have a bow range. It is a great place for the siouxland sportsman.

Great place to shoot. The facility is clean and well maintained. Joe is my go to guy for just about anything. He is courteous, professional and very knowledgeable. This place goes the extra mile to make new shooters feel welcome and not intimidated, while keeping pace for those who have been there before all the while being safe about it! I highly recommend this range.

Stopped in to find out more information about the new firearm I purchased as I knew little about it. The owner was very helpful explaining to me how the gun operated even showing me on a similar gun that he owned. He knows his stuff and is willing to share. I certainly would recommend his range.

Our entire family had a great time. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Very well maintained. Yards Shooting Range offers everything needed. Guns, ammo, ear and eye protection and targets. Also offer private lessons. They also offer an Archery area. Great inexpensive fun. They offer a women's group meeting once a month. Can not wait to attend.

Be sure to reserve a range ahead of time (call and book an appointment). Bring your own ammo, what's offered is low grade and can cause multiple jams. Otherwise very friendly and informative staff.
