The Yolo range isn't fancy or is a modern equipped facility. For pistol and rifle, it's pretty basic but very affordable. The Cease Fire procedure is typical and well enforced by the ROs. The shotgun ranges seem popular but I have not used them.

The range itself is great in terms of having a decent mix pistol, rifle, skeet, and archery. Clean, well kept, and good for what you need. My reason for giving it 3/5 stars is more so some of the range safety officers (RSO) especially the newer ones are overly social. I'm fine with them chatting, but myself and others have been frustrated by how long it takes to cycle through one of the bays when you see the RSO chit-chatting away on the 100 yd range, all the while there's several people on the pistol range that are waiting for the cease fire to get targets up. RSO's are here to provide range safety, not chat away. The range is excellent if you want to get zero'ed, or taking a few friends to chat and shoot, but for those that do shooting more routinely and at a higher level (e.g. competition), this range is less than ideal for that demographic. In the end, good range and convenient considering Sac Valley Shooting Center (SVSC) is the next closest.

Shotgun Range - 5/5 Great trap and skeet facility with voice release and fair prices. The best around Sacramento no doubt. Rifle Range - 3/5 Shade doesn't cover the shooting position fully and some shooting stations have definitely seen better days. Staff can be very anal about the rules which are quite strict. Sac Valley has a better rifle range. Still a decent place to shoot nonetheless.

This range is a very nice and family-friendly location. It is clean and in good shape. The membership program is a great way to save some money if you shoot more than a couple times a year.

I have not been to this range myself but I saw a reddit post that says you guys allow rapid fire? Or atleast 1sec per shot and was wondering if that's true? Thanks you.

My first time there this past weekend. Fast check-in. $15 (non member fee)+cc fee+tax=$16.64 at time of review for pistol/rifle. Plenty lanes open, didn't have to wait at all. Great atmosphere. Would recommend.

Love that this range is close to home and that is has various parts like pistol, rifle, and shotgun areas. The instructors there are still rude and now they don't sell ammo there anymore, hence why i only give it 3 stars. Has potential to improve.

One of the better ranges IΓÇÖve been to in NorCal. They are open when they say theyΓÇÖre open. The RSOs arenΓÇÖt breathing down your neck. The lady at the front desk is very kind and helpful. I feel a lot more relaxed here than I do at Concord or Pleasanton.

Great place to go shoot however there was only one range master or range person savedty officer whatever he was watching both the rifle and pistol rain so switching out targets it took a while

Polite staff and decent facility. Just not recommended in hot weather or very cold weather. It is an outdoor range.
