The Zion Shooting Experience was so fuuuun! Dave is the best, we had such a good time with him. He is super patient and safe! He takes his time and teaches you the right things. We shot pistols and AR 15. Very very fun times, I recommend it 100%

Absolute highlight of our trip. My family and I loved it. We were a bit nervous beforehand and Dave immediately put us at ease. He was very professional and knowledgeable. My Husband and I did the 2 hour experience with Dave and it was SO much fun. I had no prior shooting experience and was nervous to begin with but Dave put me at ease and was an incredible teacher. I came away having shot most of the targets and feeling comfortable handling the guns. Dave was very experienced and we felt safe the entire time. This was a highlight of our trip and we highly recommend this experience, thanks again Dave!

An amazing experience! My girlfriend and I don't have much experience with guns but Dave made us feel right at home, and gave us a lot of useful instruction within a personalized learning environment. We both left the experience grinning from our day out at the range, thank you so much Dave!

My wife and I spent a whole day with Dave and both of us had great fun! Dave is a very interesting guy. He made so much jokes and we laugh a lot. Of course he is professional and the event was safe. He is a former compective shooter and taught us a lot. As an airsoft shooter, It is easy to handle the real firearms with Dave's assistence. In addition, he also taught me how to aviod shoot low by precise trigger control and not anticipating the shot. We purchased the Merika kit, which included: 1.50 rounds of sporting clay expierence(by each, as follows) 2.40 rounds of glocks(glock 19, glock 34) 3.20 rounds of Staccato P 4.20 rounds of Sti Edge and another custom 2011(.40 ie 10mm) 5.10 rounds of Sti Edge(.45) 6.90 rounds of AR15(three diffrent model includes KAC SR15. We use red dot to shoot 80 yards object and use LPVO to shoot 300 yards object) 7.10 rounds of AR10 The sun burned that day and Dave provided ice water. Despite the temperature, we had a great time with Dave. He generiously refused the tips. I highly recommend the Zion Shooting Experience.

Fantastic experience! As someone with very little experience of using guns Dave was happy to go right back to basics and teach me at my own pace. Much more satisfying then other gun experiences - I actually left feeling confident handling and shooting guns. Genuinely had a lot of fun despite not being sure I would. Regardless of your experience level I would highly recommend!

We have had a great first shooting experience with Zion Shooting Experience. I consider this a 'must do' in Zion, especially for Europeans who never shot a gun. It was a beautiful scenic outdoor range, beautiful landscape which looks awesome on pictures. Dave is such a nice good guy, really patient, gives good instructions, makes you laugh and you'll be friends with him within seconds. We took the "Freedom Package" which is really good, I'd highly recommend it. We had a day to never forget! Thanks Dave!

This was one of the highlights of our trip. I have been to many shooting experiences in the US and this experience was one of the best. Dave is such a lovely guy and made us feel at ease straight away. He is relaxed and a great teacher and immediately instils confidence. I felt free to ask for additional guidance or advice as needed. My friend had only ever shot guns once before and was concerned it would be a “point and shoot” experience with no instruction and no satisfaction, but she came away loving it! Upon finding out we were veterinarians from Scotland, Dave graciously refused a tip and asked us to give it to the animals. I’m on my return flight home now as I write this review and we will pay it forward to an animal in need on your behalf 🙂. Can’t wait to come back. See you again next year!

I reserved a season with Zion Shooting Experience during our visit to Southern Utah. This was my first experience with guns and Dave, the instructor made it a very pleasant, fun and educational experience. Dave is a very kind and considerate person as well as a professional and an amazing teacher. I learned about guns, particularly gun safety and had a great with him on the range. I highly recommend Dave and Zion Shooting Experience.

My friends and I from Germany had an incredible time at the shooting range today. Dave, our guide, was outstanding. He explained each weapon in detail and taught us how to load the magazines ourselves. We enjoyed trying out various pistols and rifles. Highly recommend this unique and thrilling experience!

Mein Mann und ich hatten das Vergnügen, an der Zion Shooting Experience teilzunehmen, und es war eine Erfahrung, die wir nicht so schnell vergessen werden. Wir haben das Southern Utah Shooting Package gebucht und zusätzlich ein Magazin dazu genommen. Für mich war es das erste Mal, dass ich eine Waffe in der Hand hatte, und ich war ehrlich gesagt etwas nervös. Aber dank Dave, unserem fantastischen Lehrer, verflog die Nervosität im Handumdrehen. Dave war einfach großartig – er hat alles geduldig und verständlich erklärt, sodass ich mich sofort sicher und wohl gefühlt habe. Seine Kompetenz und Professionalität waren offensichtlich, und er nahm sich die Zeit, um sicherzustellen, dass wir alles verstanden haben und sicher mit den Waffen umgehen konnten. Gleichzeitig hat er es geschafft, die ganze Erfahrung spannend und unterhaltsam zu gestalten. Das Shooting Package selbst war hervorragend zusammengestellt und bot eine große Auswahl an Waffen, die wir ausprobieren konnten. Die Umgebung in Southern Utah war atemberaubend, und das Schießen in dieser wunderschönen Kulisse war einfach spektakulär. Ich kann Zion Shooting Experience und insbesondere Dave wärmstens empfehlen – egal ob man ein Anfänger ist, wie ich, oder schon Erfahrung mitbringt. Vielen Dank, Dave, für dieses unvergessliche Erlebnis! Wir kommen definitiv wieder.

My husband and son have booked a shooting by Zion shooting experience. It was al so well explaned by Dave. He was very clear about the do’s and the don’ts, and that is what you need when you have a reel machine in your hands. We recomment this place when you never shoot before or like the experience of shooting with different guns and rivels in the middle of the dessert 👍🏻.

Me and my wife had a great time shooting some guns with Dave! He was knowledgeable and easy going, we would highly recommend doing this in your visit to Zion. Make sure you follow the directions sent through email as the location is different from what is posted on google maps. 10/10 would do again when back!

I took my mother to the range who was very apprehensive about shooting guns. But Dave is a great instructor who did a good job making sure she had a good experience. If you always wanted to try shooting a firearm and you happen to be visiting Zion I would highly recommend Zion Shooting Experience.

Dave is a terrific instructor, the range is nice and open, and super authentic. We had a great time. Dave gives a great background of each of the guns, how they work, and how that changes the way they fire. Can highly recommend this experience with Dave, a must do if you are visiting Zion!

Shooting with the Zion Shooting Experience has been an amazing addition to our true American experience this holiday. Dave used his professionalism and top notch humor to teach us about different kinds of firearms and was able to answer each question we had about the guns. Hitting some targets close by and far away has been really fun, and I would recommend this place to everyone visiting Utah!

To start with the scenery and location of the shooting range is beautiful - just outside Zion national park and the backdrop is breathtaking. Dave was everything you could want from an instructor and more - he was methodical and careful in his approach and taught well without being overbearing as a result we had an extremely fun time. The weapons were high quality and clearly kept in pristine condition and we were allowed the full experience of the guns from loading the magazines to total gun handling - this is unlike many other ranges and is a huge bonus. Ultimately, if you're in this area or further afield such as Las Vegas it is 100% worth the journey. Thanks Dave

We booked this experience last minute as we were passing through the town. Dave is such a friendly and patient person, he made the whole experience really fun and enjoyable. It was our first time, and he took us through all safety issues. He's great at explaining how to do something and then letting you have a go - loading all the guns etc. We felt really comfortable the entire time and couldn't have had a better experience. Had a lot of fun and would 100% recommend!
